I seemed to only do this when i step away from rhino and i was in the middle of a network surface or sweep2 rail.
The only way that we could get it back to working correctly was to save our work, exit the program, and open a rhino fresh, then everything is good for about an hour and it happens again, and again, and again… I don’t think it matters which viewport I’m in, but i want to say that it always happened when my viewport is maximized, but then again, i almost always used maximized viewports so…Īlso since the latest update, when i pull up another program or window, such as safari, or photoshop, or anything that will push rhino to the background, SOMETIMES when i go back to rhino (not sure how to explain this) the program will not come back to the forefront, the menus stay greyed out and i can’t click things.
Since the latest update to the MAC BETA, in the middle of working ill go to scroll my mouse to zoom into a section of my project and all the sudden it moves my page up and down, and i would have to hold CMD i think to get it scroll with the wheel…I thought i was hitting some hot key causing this to happen, until it began to happen to all the other students in my class with Macs and they all complained about it. this mouse costs a lot of money, it should not be having issues like this.I have 3 problems that I’ve encountered here, 2 are new since the latest update (5A580), and the other has been bothering me off and on for a year and I finally decided to mention it. if this is the issue, please fix it with an update, logitech. so i would rather not have to uninstall that to try and fix this issue.
I did not try uninstalling the options software, but this software is kind of crucial as i would like to have customized buttons, inverted thumb wheel.
so seems the issue might be hardware related (or driver related). but the mx master 2s has lagging/skipping using the mx master 2s dongle. What is strange is my G700 mouse works flawlessly, no lagging/skipping, using the g700 dongle.
also tried disabling the bluetooth collaboration in my network adapter advanced settings.
tried restarting, uninstalling/reinstalling drivers (still not sure what the correct driver should be for this mouse, windows keeps installing HID-compliant mouse driver (from 2006). using wifi adapter card and using bluetooth dongle included with mx master 2s. motherboard does not have integrated wifi/bluetooth. Windows 7 user here, experiencing the skipping as well. there is third party-software which practically "hacks" in your mouse which does a better job that your own software, so get your act together! and annoying acceleration.Ī PARTof this may be apples fault, how it handles BT4 connections, but I want to set every parameter on this mouse myself, at least this is logitechs part. I think approximately 50ms, which is massive. Same rMBP on the go, MX-master, "massive" delay. On my desktop-setup with my rMBP I have a USB-conected G500, which has no measurable delay (which is f*ing important to me). There once was a Mouse-Delay practically hard-coded into OS X (a long time ago) which is gone now. I HATE you for "simplifying" this WITHOUT including a menu which says: "Yes I know what I do, I want to adjust my acceleration-factors" GIVE THE GEEKS THEIR GEEKSTUFF. We do not want a "Logitech options" where we can adjust only 2 features of a mouse which has 20 features. The other part is a completely different one and for this I must say: "LOGITECH GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER" Try talking to someone 10meters away, if three kids, 1m away are just constantly screaming, impossible, don't blame it on your vocal cords (in this case Logitech). There are very few free frequencies, and most PC Hardware or USBHubs are just pretty cheap and bad. And optional: Buy a Bluetooth USB dongle, put it in a USB-cable with distance from USB3 ports. Replace cheap USB-3 Cables with ones with GOOD shielding. I've invested a lot of time, and found a Solution applicable to Desktop PCs.
This is one of the main reasons for connectivity issues. USB3 has a base-frequency of 2.5GHz, which turns every USB3 port, without connection into a noise-transmitting antenna if not turned of, which is really bad, because Bluetooth uses 2,45GHz.Īpple is well aware of the issue and newer Apple Hardwares shut the USB3 features completely down, if no device is connected. How computers handle unconnected USB3 ports. There are multiple issues at hand, and the worst one is: This is NOT only a Logitech Issue, stop simplifying anything or try to blame the whole Problem on Logitech.
